Three more ladies
Lois is in red and she wanted me to be sure and get a photo of the makeup and nail ladies who aren't with her church but are there every thursday also.At first I was taken back when Lois invited me to her church even though I told her I had a church,"thankyou anyway" Over the last year I have seen what a kind lady she is and enjoy hearing her read the bible to the nursing home residents.

That was nice of her to invite you...and you had the right response as you always seem to!
:)
I love the smiles on all of these ladies. They glow.
I hope I have such great women to keep me lovely when I'm in the home!
There should be special crowns in Heaven for people who bring joy to those in nursing homes.
What a sweet post. What a nice thing to do. The smiles are very sweet aren't they?
@GoodGuyTheBoss - @ata_grandma - @Lucy_or_Ethel - they really make the ladies' day or week.
@LateNiteStorm - thanks -you're sweet. @stixandstonz - yes,they look so happy don't they.
Morning kiddo.. Just stopped by to say hello... day 2 of my 4 day weekend, so signing off in a few minuites and get busy around here... made a list of things to do.....
I know the lady doing the nails. What a special service these ladies are doing. This would make a great story for the local paper! What nursing home is it?
@southernlady52 - Isn't it. I sent photos by email to the social coordinator so I hope she makes photos for them cause I'm all played out giving aways photos at christmas to all the residents. It's the one on Kilpatrick that my childhood neighbor Mrs. Nita Palmer is at.
beautiful! I love older ladies, there's so much WISDOM to gather from them! I used to work in a home, and i loved those ladies...and one of them gave me a lovely handkerchief for my wedding...at that time it was 50 years old (something old). I still have it and now it is over 75 years old...*G*
I treasure older folks, i could never stand it when their kids left them there and never came to visit, i have wept with some of them...it was so heartbreaking.
HEY.. I'm a cofC lady.. and a hairdresser.. wish I lived there so I could play beauty shop too.. I love doing elderly ladies hair.. :) :) :) I had a LOT of them in beauty college... :)
@mothertofour - @Shutterbugd - you can do it where you live -go visit. I go cause mom is in one and also her neighbor of 40yrs who knew me when.
